Jay is a technology visionary with a long history of spotting developing trends and applying them to business. After a twenty-year stint at Leveraged Technology Inc., a technology consultancy that he co-founded, Jay left to pursue a new vision. In 2007, Gorilla Toolz was founded on the idea that business could benefit from the growing trend of social networking.
Unhappy with the "flat" peer-to-peer approach that social networkers were using, Jay created Gorilla Toolz - a new generation of software empowering businesses to drive accretive value from their partner networks.
Prior to Gorilla Toolz, Jay led the technology vision at LTI and spearheaded many of its key product development projects including the Minex trade order matching service, Telerate’s TTS global trading system - later acquired by Dow Jones. Jay also created the insurance underwriting product A-Plus for the American Insurance Services Group (now owned by ISO). A-Plus is currently used by over 90% of America’s insurance companies.
